Sworn translation, or traduccion jurada, is a legally recognised form of translation required for official processes in Spain and abroad. In Spain it must be produced by a translator officially appointed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAEC). everesttranslate holds this appointment for English, French and Portuguese. Common uses include visa and residence applications, recognition of foreign academic qualifications, legal proceedings in Spain or abroad, notarial processes, immigration documentation, and civil registration. We handle personal documents, educational certificates, company documents, court papers and everything in between. Every sworn translation is delivered with the official bilingual stamp and the hand signature of the registered translator. Electronic PDF delivery is standard. Physical certified copies with wet stamp can be arranged on request and are quoted separately.
