1. Data controller

Processing is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spain's Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and Digital Rights Guarantee (LOPDPGDD). Supervised by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), aepd.es.
2. Data collected
Contact enquiries: name, email, project description. Orders and billing: name, email, phone, country. Language preference: stored as a session cookie (evr_lang). We do not use tracking or analytics cookies.
3. Legal basis
Order and billing data is processed on the basis of contract performance (GDPR Article 6.1.b). Enquiry data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest in responding to communications (Article 6.1.f).
4. Retention
Order and billing records: 5 years as required by Spanish tax law (Ley General Tributaria). Sworn translation records: 5 years from delivery. Enquiry emails: 2 years if no project results. Language cookie: maximum 1 year or until user clears browser data.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, object to and port your personal data. Contact hello@everesttranslate.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the AEPD at aepd.es.
6. Third parties
Payment processing: Stripe Payments Europe Ltd (SPEL), subject to Stripe privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy. Google Fonts is used for typography. No data is sold or shared with any other third party. Sworn translation records may be subject to audit by Spanish judicial authorities as required by law.
